Run Information

The Rock Slide is an annual event that students plan, train, and look forward to year after year. The students participate in healthy living challenges and training classes at their school to prepare for their run. Their teachers and school staff are there to cheer them on after months of helping them get in shape. By the time the Rock Slide arrives the kids are prepared and looking forward to a fun morning with their family and friends. The kids and their family run then come back to enjoy the awards ceremony, refreshments, and visit the booths provided by the sponsors.

For more information, or to register by check download the Registration Form here.

The Rock Slide is focused on promoting the importance of healthy living for our children and families through this annual community event.  The Rock Slide provides a unique opportunity for businesses to connect with the local schools and their families.  Rock Slide proceeds are divided among all participating schools.

Reach our 2500 families through the school websites, flyers in student backpacks, posters at the school, email blasts from the school, Rock Slide t-shirts, and a booth at the event.  Your advertising dollars can be spent sponsoring the Rock Slide and 100% of the money goes directly back to the participating schools as a non-profit donation.  Contact Tony Golden at 303-562-7674 or by email at tony.golden@dcrockslide.com.

The Kiwanis Club of Castle Pines is providing a pancake breakfast immediately following the Rock Slide run as a fundraiser for The Second Wind Foundation, a youth suicide-prevention program for the Douglas County School District.  (For more information, click the Kiwanis Logo in the Sponsors Section on the right side of this page.)  Castle Pines Kiwanis Club is devoted to serving the children of Douglas County.  To learn more, visit www.CPKiwanis.org.
